IMPORTANT - new coaching policy

Hello, As you may be aware, there are some new policies being implemented by Swimming Canada and Masters Swimming Canada that Manitoba's masters' clubs, have been asked to comply with. One of these is that our coaches are to have a minimum of NCCP level 1 (Fundamentals Coach) for swimming. Unfortunately, any coaches who do not have it by the completion of the 2016/17 season will not be able to coach in future seasons until they complete the certification. MSM is considering providing financial support to those coaches who need this certification. I have been tasked with reaching out to all Manitoba's Masters Clubs to see how many coaches require this certification. This information will assist MSM with determining how much financial support they can afford per coach.

Swim Manitoba will be hosting a NCCP Fundamentals Swimming 101 Course May 12-14 and registration is open until Apr 30 (or until all spots are filled). With that in mind, please let me know how many coaches your club has who have to take this course prior to end of March.

Thank you.
