Age Group Coach NCCP Level 2 – Interested Coaches

Please contact Swim Manitoba ASAP: We have 3 coaches waiting for course & require minimum of 5 to host a course within the Province.

Age Group Coach Level 2 is designed for coaches preparing developing competitive swimmers for Provincial and/or Age National competitions. Age Group Coach level 2 training will focus on coaching athletes in the Train to Train stage of long term swimmer development.

Respect In Sport

All coaches in Manitoba are required, as mandated by Sport Manitoba, to complete the Respect in Sport online course. It does not matter if the coach is a volunteer or paid, or working with adults or children, as all coaches are required to complete the course.

The course began in 2006 and coaches are required to recertify every 5 years.

If you have a coach who completed the course between 2006-2012, they are required to recertify now. If you have a coach who has not completed the course, they are required to certify now.
